In-Kind Giving

Giving goods and services to NSP is a wonderful way to continue to have an impact with NSP. If you are interested in giving to NSP in-kind email aadevelopment@nspnet.org for more information on next steps to give.

Donate your old personal computer, PDA, etc.
Donate goods or services through your company
Do pro-bono consulting work or research for class
Serve on a Local Office Advisory Board

Donate your old personal computer, PDA, etc.
If you are graduating from college or graduate school or getting a new computer or blackberry from your company consider donating your old laptop or PDA to NSP Local Office or National Office staff. They are always in need of updated computer equipment.

Donate goods or services through your company
Is your company going through a technology upgrade? Are they looking to give at the end of the year? Does your company provide services that may be a nice fit with NSP's needs such as technology assistance, strategic planning services, marketing consulting, design, legal services, or real estate services? Then consider donating goods or services through your company. Your manager and our National Office staff should be able to help you identify the possibilities.

Do pro-bono consulting work or research for a graduate school course
Pro-bono consulting work by volunteers and alumni have built the CORI system, helped identify novel ways of recruiting volunteers, and helped redefine NSP branding and graphics. You've got a lot of skills and talents. Give your time to NSP and help them tackle some of their most pressing challenges. Do research for the organization for credit as a part of a graduate school course or just as a meaningful way to spend free time.

Serve on a Local Office Advisory Board
Alumni interested in helping provide guidance to NSP local offices should consider serving on a Local Office Advisory Board (LAB). The board meets a few times a year to review progress on local offices initiatives, office operations, program results, recruitment efforts, etc. Your knowledge and expertise can help the local directors tackle a variety of questions and challenges.
