NSP is pleased to announce its status as a 2004 Charity Partner of the Marine Corps Marathon.

On October 31st, NSP volunteers, friends and supporters from across the country will come
together for a 26.2 mile run in Washington, DC. Each participant will run to raise $2000 in
support of NSP, making the marathon NSP’s largest private fundraising effort to date.
Believing that positive community change occurs when individuals are connected with the
powerful and effective resources that already exist in our country’s neighborhoods, NSP will
lead its Team Members from churches to community centers, health clinics to libraries, as the
weekly training runs begin and end at landmarks of productive social change. Our training
curriculum and weekend runs will prepare TEAM NSP 2004 runners for the experience of a
lifetime: The Marine Corps Marathon. If you would like to join us or support the runners,
